After reading about Dr. Dobson's secret information on Harriet Miers, I thought it was time to prod my Republican operative source Dexter for more insight on this story.

At first, Dexter would only caution me to "not get too far ahead on this story". However after some additional prodding, and a thinly veiled threat of unleashing a mob of squirrels on his delicious nutty interior, he started speaking more candidly.

Apparently Harriet Miers specializes in Double-Super-Secret Spy Law. And in addition to her legal training, is trained as a CIA spy, who regularly takes part in covert legal missions. I can't get into too many specifics, but I can tell you she has experience in the following sort of legal missions:

Massive document shredding, assassinating foreign judges, defeating lie detectors, and performing Jedi mind tricks.

So, if anyone had doubts about her qualifications as a possible Supreme Court Judge, I am sure after reading this post, you now have full confidence in her.

Is it me or has the religious right really dropped the ball on the public policy of stem cell research? The right-wing's think tanks should have come across the solution by now. I'll quickly outline the problem the right-wing faces.

 
• Having the blood of blastocysts on your hands is a mortal sin.
 
• Killing blastocysts is necessary to do research that could potentially lead to cures to many diseases.
 
• Despite the fact that the right-wing is morally pure, God has still manage to curse some of their members with awful diseases.

You see we have a conundrum, how do we accomplish this research and save our friends lives, without sinning in the process. I thought the right-wing think tanks were working on this problem 24-7, but apparently not, since the solution is so obvious.

I offer the following solution to all members of the right-wing who influence public policy:

Outlaw all stem cell research in the United States. Thereby South Korea and the United Kingdom will continue to develop this research. When the research is developed enough to be applied to humans, simply bomb South Korea and the United Kingdom to Hell until they unconditionally surrender their countries, hence giving us access to their life saving technologies. Now this is the perfect solution, as only the South Koreans and the Brits are stuck with the blastocysts' blood on their hands. Meanwhile the U.S. only has the blood of Post-Borns on its hands, which is well known to be water soluble and therefore washes off in any rainstorm.

Gotham City, USA -

News broke today as the Gotham City Police Department defends its behavior in outing a hometown hero and member of the Justice League Bruce Wayne, more commonly known as Batman. Gotham City PD is accused of intentionally leaking Batman's identity as Bruce Wayne to Mrs. Roberta Novak, a reporter for the Gotham City Daily News. The Gotham City Police are thought to have leaked Batman's identity in retaliation for Catwoman tipping off to the Gotham Daily that ever since Batman and Catwomen have teamed up, Gotham's supervillain problems have become basically non-existant.

The city fought back against these charges with a press release making several points. The press release claimed Batman's identity was an "open secret", and noted that he drove "daily to and from the Batcave in the Batmobile". The press release also noted that he wasn't really a superhero, and in fact had a "desk job at Wayne Industries". In addition the City PD notes "that all his neighbors knew Bruce Wayne was Batman".

A Justice League spokesman spoke publicly to refute Gotham City PD's claims. He first noted that it is common for members of Justice League to have an ordinary day job as cover for their secret identity. He secondly noted Batman had well-established procedures for driving clandestinely to and from the Batcave. Thirdly he notes, that Bruce Wayne has an enormous amount of land around his mansion, and in fact has no nearby neighbors. The Justice League spokesmen went on to say that this leak has in fact caused considerable damage to Batman and Gotham City. Batman now has to struggle daily with supervillains invading his home and trying to kill him. The Justice League also claims that Batman's newfound problem has resulted in an all time high crime rate for Gotham City.
